D-Link DGS-1250-28XMP — 28-Port Gigabit Smart Managed PoE+ Switch
24× Gigabit PoE+4× 10G SFP+370W PoE BudgetSurveillance Mode
The D-Link DGS-1250-28XMP is a 28-port Gigabit Smart Managed PoE+ switch with 24 PoE+ copper ports and four 10G SFP+ fibre uplinks, backed by a 370W budget. Built for surveillance and SMB networks, it adds a dedicated Surveillance Mode, VLANs, static routing, ACLs and QoS, with D-Link’s limited lifetime warranty. This is model DGS-1250-28XMP (/E = EU pack). Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
PoE is IEEE 802.3af/at (PoE+) up to 30W per port across a 370W budget — not 802.3bt / PoE++. Note the ~455W figure some listings show is the switch’s maximum power consumption, not the PoE budget. This is Smart Managed L2+ with static routing (L3-Lite), not a full Layer 3 router. The four SFP+ slots are 10G and need modules, sold separately.
Best For
✓IP video surveillance (CCTV)
✓Camera + NVR deployments
✓Wi-Fi AP backbones
✓VoIP / PoE endpoints
✓10G fibre uplinks to the core
✓VLAN-segmented SMB LANs
Key Features
24× PoE+ Ports, 370W
24 Gigabit ports supply 802.3af/at PoE+ up to 30W each within a 370W budget, powering a full floor of cameras, access points and phones.
Four 10G SFP+ Uplinks
Four true 10G SFP+ fibre uplinks — rare at this tier — provide high-bandwidth aggregation to the core, NVR or servers with no bottleneck.
Surveillance Mode with ONVIF
A dedicated Surveillance Mode UI auto-discovers ONVIF IP cameras and shows PoE and device status, making CCTV setup and monitoring effortless.
Smart Managed L2+
256 VLANs, static routing, ACLs, 8-queue QoS, IGMP snooping, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP and 802.1X on a 128 Gbps fabric (95.24 Mpps).

Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You are building an IP-camera or SMB PoE network and want 24 PoE+ ports (370W), four 10G fibre uplinks, managed control and a plug-and-play Surveillance Mode.
Skip it if
You need 802.3bt / PoE++ (60W) devices, or dynamic Layer 3 routing — choose a bt-capable PoE switch or a full L3 switch instead.
Also consider
A PoE++ (802.3bt) switch for high-power devices, or a full L3 switch if you need dynamic routing.
