Does the BKK1B kit include a stand?
No — this kit (BKK1B) ships with the scanner and USB cable only. Thanks to Motionix sensing, the scanner still toggles into presentation mode when placed on a flat surface. For a fixed stand, add the optional Datalogic STD-G040 or look at the BKK1S kit instead.
What is Motionix and do I need a stand to use it?
Motionix is Datalogic's motion-sensing technology. The scanner automatically detects whether it's being held or sitting still, switching between trigger-pull and hands-free presentation mode — no dedicated stand is required.
Will it read barcodes from a phone screen?
Yes. The 1 MP sensor with white-light illumination reads mobile-displayed barcodes (loyalty cards, e-coupons, e-tickets, vaccination QR codes) reliably.
Is it plug-and-play with my POS system?
