It shares the same megapixel sensor, warm-white illumination, Motionix motion-sensing technology, and 4-Dot aimer with centre cross as the standard GD4590, but is fitted with dedicated High Density optics specifically engineered to read miniature, condensed, and Direct Part Marked (DPM) barcodes that standard-range imagers cannot resolve.
