Magellan 1500i is a compact wired presentation scanner for printed labels and mobile codes. Present the product at the window, or pick the reader up when a larger item is easier to scan in place. Motionix changes reading mode as it is lifted and returned. This black standard 2D kit includes a tilting stand and USB-A cable.

Before you order:
MG1501-10210-0200 is the standard 2D tilting-stand USB-A kit. Magnetic-base, riser and wall-mount versions have different part numbers. Digimarc is optional; the separate DWM kit is MG1501-10310-0200. Barcode capture still requires suitable POS/application processing.

  • The USB kit does not include every supported interface cable or an EAS installation.
  • IP52 is not an immersion rating. Reading distances depend on symbol density, contrast and lighting.

Key Features

 
Two handling styles, one wired reader
Motionix changes to handheld mode when lifted, enabling the LED aimer, then returns to stand mode on the counter. The cable remains connected; handheld use does not mean wireless.
 
Comfortable presentation reading
Adaptive recessed illumination adjusts to printed and screen codes. Green Spot, a good-read LED and an adjustable beeper confirm decoding without implying application approval.
 
Choose the mount and decoding option
This kit has a tilting stand and ordinary 1D/2D decoding. A magnetic base, wall mount or optional Digimarc configuration must be selected by its own exact part number.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this kit include a magnetic base?
No. Datalogic lists the magnetic-base tilting-stand model separately as MG1501-10211-0200.
Is Digimarc enabled in this SKU?
Do not assume it. The manufacturer lists optional Digimarc and a separate DWM kit; this SKU is the standard 2D USB-A kit.
Can I lift it to read a large item?
Yes. Motionix switches reading modes when it is picked up and returned. It remains a wired scanner.
