Magellan 900i is a compact presentation imager that reads linear and 2D barcodes from product labels and mobile screens. Place an item in front of the scanning window or sweep it through the reading area. Unlike the Orbit 7120 laser scanner, it also handles QR and Data Matrix; unlike cordless handhelds, it is designed around a fixed wired counter. This black SKU includes the stand, magnetic mount and a 2 m USB keyboard cable.
Before you order:
MG0901-10001-0200 adds the magnetic mount to the stand and 2 m USB keyboard kit. MG0901-10000-0200 omits the magnetic mount. This is not the separate kiosk-mount or EAS-cable kit; software must interpret the scanned data.

What It Means in Practice
- For example, a cashier presents a printed item label or a customer’s mobile coupon to the window. Green Spot and audible feedback confirm decoding; the POS application then decides what the code means.
- Tilt the stand to suit the operator and counter. Use the LED aimer when selecting one code from a printed PLU list.
What Will Not Work
- No Bluetooth or wireless roaming.
- The USB kit does not include every supported interface cable or an EAS installation.
- IP52 is not an immersion rating. Reading distances depend on symbol density, contrast and lighting.

The omnidirectional image reader captures printed and screen codes without the alignment needed by a single laser line. Adaptive illumination adjusts the light for the task.
Visible read confirmation
Green Spot, a good-read LED and an adjustable beeper help the operator recognise a decoded barcode. This indicates reading, not approval by the POS application.
Compact wired station
The tilting stand, magnetic mount and cable routing suit a counter installation. This kit adds mounting flexibility over MG0901-10000-0200; it does not change the scanning engine or make the scanner wireless.
