The black/yellow Datalogic PowerScan PD9630-SRK1 is a corded Standard Range 1D/2D scanner kit for receiving, production and industrial workstations. It includes one PD9630-SR scanner and the CAB-553 USB cable. Connect it to a compatible USB host and receiving application to capture labels, QR and Data Matrix codes. The scanner records barcode data; the host software handles inventory, production tracking or checkout.

Before you order:
This SKU is the USB kit. RS-232 and industrial Ethernet integration need the appropriate separately selected cable or module. SR does not include the HP, Document Capture, Auto Range, DPX or RFID variants’ specialist functions. Compare the SR reading distances with your actual label samples.

What's in the Box

  • 1 × PD9630-SR Standard Range corded scanner, yellow/black.
  • 1 × CAB-553 USB cable. Host, software, stand and other interface accessories are separate.

What It Means in Practice

  • Connect CAB-553 to the scanner and compatible USB host, set the correct keyboard/data mode and scan into the receiving application.
  • At a receiving desk, scan the carton or part label and let the host application look up or record the item. Green Spot, top LEDs, vibration and sound confirm a successful decode in different working conditions.
  • Motionix detects motion for mode changes after configuration. Hands-free installation requires an appropriate separately selected holder or stand.

What Will Not Work

  • No cordless radio or battery operation; this PD9630 kit is tethered to its host.
  • Do not expect automatic DPM/DPX, color document capture, RFID or the longer/different HP/AR reading ranges.

Is this a cordless PowerScan?
No. PD9630 is the corded configuration. Cordless PM/PBT radio and battery specifications do not apply.
