Before you order: This cable takes power from an external Datalogic power supply, which is not included. If your scanner currently runs only from the terminal's USB port, you either need that supply or a power-off-terminal USB cable instead.

What Will Not Work
- It will not power the scanner without the separate power supply connected to the cable.
- Magellan 9300i/9400i/9800i bioptic scanners and the smaller Magellan 1100i/1500i use their own cable lists — do not order this for them.
- IBM POS terminals that expect IBM USB (powered USB / Port 9B, 17) need Datalogic's IBM USB cables instead.
- RS-232 hosts — Datalogic lists separate RS-232 cables for these scanners.
