A 920-gram briefcase made from ocean-bound plastic, with lockable zips
Fits laptops 14-16"16 litres0.92 kg100% ocean-bound plastic exteriorLockable zipper pullersLuggage pass-through
Dell's EcoLoop Premier is the top tier of its bag range, and the briefcase is the slim one: 16 litres, 920 grams, and an exterior main fabric made entirely from OceanCycle Certified recycled ocean-bound plastic - about seventeen bottles collected within 50 kilometres of a coastline or major waterway. It is a three-compartment case with 360-degree XPE foam around the laptop, lockable zipper pullers and a set of discreet pockets for the things you would rather not advertise.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Dell rates it for laptops from 14" to 16", with a maximum laptop size of 360 x 260 x 20 mm. The 20 mm depth is the constraint worth checking - this is a slim briefcase, and a thick 16" mobile workstation may not go in. The laptop compartment doubles as a tablet sleeve with an anti-scratch Nylex lining, though Dell does not publish a separate tablet pocket size. One naming note: Dell has renamed its accessory tiers, so this same product now also appears on dell.com as the "Dell Pro 14-16 Premium EcoLoop Briefcase". Same case, same model code CC7625.
Best For
✓ Sustainability sits in your procurement criteria and you want a specific, certified claim rather than a vague one
✓ You want a slim briefcase at under a kilogram that still protects a 16" laptop properly
✓ You want the laptop compartment to lock - Dell fits lockable zipper pullers
✓ You travel and want a luggage pass-through and reflective accents
✓ You want discreet pockets: one on the back panel against your body and one on the bottom of the case
✓ You charge on the move and want a cable pass-through to a power bank inside the case
Key Features
100 percent OceanCycle Certified ocean-bound plastic
Dell's exact claim: the briefcase's exterior main fabric is made with 100 percent OceanCycle Certified recycled ocean-bound plastic, from approximately 17 recycled plastic bottles. Dell defines ocean-bound plastic as waste collected within 50 kilometres of an ocean coastline or major waterway.
360-degree XPE foam protection
The laptop compartment is wrapped in XPE foam with a top bumper and an anti-scratch Nylex brushed lining, so drops and knocks do not reach the machine.
Lockable zipper pullers
Dell fits lockable pullers on the laptop compartment. The lock itself is not supplied - buy one separately.
Three compartments plus organisers
A dedicated laptop and tablet compartment, a front compartment with organisers, and a spacious middle compartment with organisers - plus a top front pocket and a bottom front pocket with a magnetic flap.
Two discreet pockets
A zippered valuables pocket on the back panel, which sits against your body when the case is carried, and a second discreet zip pocket on the bottom of the case.
Water-resistant 600D woven fabric
Dell describes the body as premium, water-resistant 600D woven fabric. There is no IP rating and it is not waterproof.
Travel details
A luggage pass-through for airports and stations, reflective accents, a cable pass-through for charging, a detachable shoulder strap and a grip handle.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight
Dell publishes a proper datasheet for this case, so most of the page above is straight from the manufacturer. Two things we deliberately did not carry over. First, Dell's own web spec table asserts "fuel resistant", a claim that appears in no datasheet prose - we left it out. Second, Dell's datasheet and its bags eGuide contradict each other on packaging: the datasheet says the plastic bag contains 100 percent recycled content, the eGuide says the plastic bag has been eliminated. We report the recycled-fabric claim, which both agree on, and leave the packaging detail alone. The most useful thing to check before ordering remains the 20 mm laptop depth limit, which is what actually decides whether your machine fits.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
In stock at Singular in Cyprus. Order online for delivery across the island, or contact us for fleet and business quantities.
Skip it if
Skip it if you need a water bottle pocket - the briefcase does not have one, though its CP7625 backpack sibling does have a side pocket. Skip it if you need an RFID pocket, a USB port or a tracker pocket, none of which Dell publishes for this case. And do not confuse it with the EcoLoop Pro tier (now "Pro Plus"): CC5623 is a different case in 840D ballistic fabric rated only to 15.6".
