Dell Mobile Wireless Mouse MS3320W — Dual-Mode Wireless, Black
Bluetooth 5.0 and 2.4 GHzUp to 4000 DPI36 months on one AA65 g, travel size
The Dell MS3320W is the mouse to buy when one wireless mode is not enough. It connects over Bluetooth 5.0 or through the supplied 2.4 GHz USB receiver, so it works with a laptop that has no free USB-A port and with a desktop that has no Bluetooth — and Microsoft Swift Pair makes the Bluetooth side a two-click setup on Windows. Resolution is adjustable through Dell Display and Peripheral Manager from 1000 to 4000 DPI, defaulting to 1600, which is the range that makes a 4K or dual-monitor desk comfortable. One AA cell, supplied fitted, is rated by Dell for up to 36 months, and the whole mouse weighs 65 g without it.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Both connection methods are available, and the USB receiver is in the box. Dell does not brand it a Universal receiver on this model’s published material, so do not assume it will pair other Dell peripherals — treat it as this mouse’s own dongle. DPI adjustment and the programmable middle button require Dell Display and Peripheral Manager, a free download for Windows; without it the mouse works at its 1600 DPI default and the middle button is a plain wheel click. Dell publishes no paired-device count for the MS3320W, so if you plan to switch it between several machines, ask us and we will confirm from Dell before you order rather than guessing. The colour of this part number is Black; Dell also sells Titan Gray, Midnight Green and Ash Pink under different codes.
Best For
✓ Laptop users who move between machines
✓ Desks with 4K or dual monitors needing higher DPI
✓ Travel and hybrid working
✓ Machines with no free USB-A port
✓ Hot desks that need Bluetooth pairing
✓ Fleet purchases wanting a 3-year manufacturer term
Key Features
Two ways to connect
Bluetooth 5.0 for a laptop with no port to spare, or the supplied 2.4 GHz USB receiver for a desktop with no Bluetooth. Microsoft Swift Pair handles the Bluetooth side on Windows without digging through settings.
DPI you can actually change
1000, 1600, 2400 or 4000 DPI, selected in Dell Display and Peripheral Manager, with 1600 as the default. On a 4K screen or a two-monitor desk the higher settings are the difference between crossing the desktop in one movement and in three.
Three years on one AA cell
Dell publishes up to 36 months from a single AA battery, supplied fitted. No charging cable, no cradle, no downtime, and no sealed pack to age the mouse out of service.
Small enough to travel
65 g without the battery, at 104.14 mm long, 60.96 mm wide and 38.1 mm high. It goes in a laptop sleeve pocket without adding noticeable weight, which is the point of the Mobile in the name.

Singular Expert Insight
The MS3320W sits in a useful spot: it is still an inexpensive office mouse, but the two things it adds over the basic models are exactly the two that matter on a modern desk. Bluetooth means it works on a laptop whose only ports are USB-C, and 4000 DPI means it stays usable when that laptop is plugged into a 4K screen — a fixed 1000 DPI mouse feels genuinely slow at that resolution. The 36-month AA figure is the other quiet advantage for a fleet: no charging cables, no sealed batteries. Two caveats worth stating. DPI adjustment needs Dell’s software installed, so on a locked-down estate check that first. And Dell does not publish how many devices it will hold paired, so if multi-device switching is the reason you are buying it, ask us to confirm rather than assuming it behaves like the MS5320W. Our PC monitors range covers the screens these are usually bought alongside, and docking stations the ports.
