Dell Pro Premium Wireless ANC Headset WL7024 — Seven Microphones, Adaptive ANC and a Charging Dock
Adaptive ANC with 7 microphonesUp to 28 h talk, 80 h listeningCharging dock and 3.5 mm cable includedMicrosoft Teams and Zoom certified
The Dell Pro Premium Wireless ANC Headset WL7024 is the top of Dell’s three-tier business headset range and the only one of the three that arrives with a charging dock and a 3.5 mm cable in the box. Seven microphones drive both the adaptive noise cancellation and Dell’s Dual Directional AI noise reduction, which cleans up the incoming audio as well as what you send. Battery life is the standout number: up to 28 hours of talk time, up to 80 hours of listening, and 15 minutes on the cable gives you another 12 hours of calls. Dell’s EMEA order code for this configuration is 520-BBHC.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The bundled wireless dongle is USB-C, and the Microsoft Teams certification runs through it rather than through generic Bluetooth. On a machine with only USB-A ports you must use the USB-A adapter that comes in the box — and the dongle is the Dell-paired one, so a spare generic Bluetooth adapter will not reproduce the same behaviour. This is the WL7024, not the WL5024 or the WL3024, and the three are not variations of the same thing: the WL5024 has five microphones, hybrid rather than adaptive ANC and no dock or 3.5 mm cable in its standard box, while the WL3024 has no active noise cancellation at all — its noise cancelling is microphone-only on a boom arm. If you have been quoted a WL3024 as an ANC headset, that quote is wrong. Dell does not publish the Bluetooth codecs for this model, so if a specific codec is a requirement, tell us and we will ask Dell rather than guess.
Best For
✓ All-day call schedules where battery life decides the headset
✓ Microsoft Teams and Zoom estates on Dell hardware
✓ Desks where a dock keeps the headset charged and visible
✓ Users who also need a 3.5 mm cable for a desk phone or a flight
✓ Open-plan rooms — double-sided busy light LED
✓ People who want the incoming audio cleaned up, not just outgoing
Key Features
Seven microphones, working both directions
Dell publishes AI noise reduction and AI beam forming across seven microphones, plus Dual Directional AI NC that processes the incoming audio as well as your outgoing voice. Most headsets only clean up one side of the call.
Battery you stop thinking about
Up to 28 hours of talk with ANC and the busy light off, 26 hours with ANC on, and up to 80 hours of listening. A full charge takes under three hours, and 15 minutes on the cable is enough for another 12 hours of calls.
A dock, not just a cable
The charging dock is in the box and takes the USB-C plug, so the headset sits upright on the desk and charges without anything being plugged into it. The dock weighs 486 g, which is enough that it stays where you put it.
Adaptive ANC with a 3.5 mm way out
Adaptive active noise cancellation on 40 mm drivers, and — unusually for this class — a 3.5 mm audio cable in the box, so the headset still works on a desk phone, an aircraft seat or anything else without Bluetooth.

Singular Expert Insight
Dell’s wireless headset range in our office and VoIP headsets section runs WL3024, WL5024, WL7024, and the gaps between them are larger than the model numbers suggest. The WL7024 is the only one with seven microphones, adaptive ANC, a charging dock and a 3.5 mm cable. The WL3024 has no ANC at all, which catches people out regularly. Worth knowing before you compare listings: Dell has renamed this line from “Dell Premier” to “Dell Pro Premium”, so the same headset appears under both names depending on when the page was written — the model number WL7024 is what identifies it. Against the Jabra Evolve2 75 it trades eight microphones for seven but adds a dock, a 3.5 mm cable and three years of Advanced Exchange cover instead of two. For meeting rooms rather than personal headsets, our video conferencing range is the place to look.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want the longest battery life in this class, you take calls on Teams or Zoom all day, and you want a headset that docks upright on the desk instead of lying face down. The 3.5 mm cable makes it useful away from the computer too, and three years of Advanced Exchange cover is the best manufacturer term in this comparison.
Skip it if
Skip it if you only need noise cancelling for the person you are calling — the WL3024 does that for much less, as long as you understand it has no ANC for the wearer. Skip it if a specific Bluetooth codec is a hard requirement, because Dell does not publish them for this model. Skip it if 297 g on the head is more than you want for a full shift.
Also consider
Dell WL5024 if you can live without the dock and the 3.5 mm cable, Dell WL3024 if microphone-only noise cancelling is enough, or the Jabra Evolve2 75 if you would rather have eight microphones and a lighter 197 g headset.
