Delock 12040 — Ergonomic Mouse Pad with Wrist Rest, Black
Gel restRubberised base230 mm wide174 g
Delock’s ergonomic pad puts the wrist support and the tracking surface in one flexible piece. It measures 230 x 202 x 24 mm, weighs 174 g, and the underside is rubberised so the pad grips the desk rather than travelling with the mouse. The wrist section is described by Delock as a smooth gel filling. The pad body itself is soft and flexible rather than rigid, so it lies flat on an uneven desk and does not crack at the fold. It is black, and it arrives in a retail box with the pad and nothing else.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the depth before ordering: at 230 x 202 x 24 mm this is an office pad, and the wrist section adds height at the front edge — useful when your forearm sits roughly level with the desktop, unhelpful when your chair puts your elbows well below it. It is too small for low-sensitivity gaming sweeps; for that you want a flat cloth mat of 320 mm or more. Two things Delock does not publish for this part: no surface material for the tracking area beyond calling the pad soft and flexible, and no washing instructions, so treat it as wipe-clean. In the box there is one mouse pad — no separate keyboard rest, no accessories.
Best For
✓ Office desks that want pad and rest in one piece
✓ Uneven or textured desktops, since the pad is flexible
✓ Anyone replacing a hard, worn plastic pad
✓ Desks where the mouse pad keeps sliding
✓ Standard optical and laser mice
✓ Buyers who want a plain, no-nonsense accessory
Key Features
Gel where the wrist rests
Delock specifies gel in the support section, so it takes the shape of your wrist rather than pressing back at it.
A rubberised underside
The base grips the desk so the pad does not creep forward during fast mouse movement.
Soft and flexible
The pad body flexes rather than staying rigid, so it lies flat on an uneven surface and survives being rolled or stored.
One piece, no sliding
Pad and rest are a single item, so there is no loose cushion drifting out of position through the day.

Singular Expert Insight
Delock accessories are plain and honestly specified, and this is a straightforward way to add wrist support without buying two items. The flexible body suits desks that are not perfectly flat. If you need a gaming surface, buy a large cloth mat instead. See our mouse pads and wrist rests and our wired mice.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want an inexpensive one-piece ergonomic pad with a gel wrist section, in black.
Skip it if
You need a large gaming area, a published surface material, or a wrist rest for the keyboard as well.
Also consider
A Fellowes memory-foam pad for a longer manufacturer term, or a LogiLink gaming mat if room to move matters more than wrist support.
