The Delock hose clamp secures a hose with an outer diameter of 40 to 60 mm onto a pipe end or spigot, and it is tightened by hand with a red butterfly (wing) screw — no screwdriver needed. The pack contains five clamps with a 9 mm wide band of stainless steel 400 SS.
It is meant for DIY, home and garden jobs: drain and vacuum hoses, pond and pump connections, ventilation hoses on workshop equipment, or any place where a hose has to stay on under pressure and you may want to remove it again later.
Before you order: Measure the outer diameter of the hose where it sits on the pipe. The clamp covers 40 – 60 mm; hoses smaller than 40 mm cannot be tightened enough.

What It Means in Practice
- Slip the clamp over the hose, push the hose onto the pipe, then turn the butterfly screw by hand until the hose is firmly held.
- Because no tool is needed, it is quick to loosen again — handy for hoses you disconnect regularly.
- Five pieces in the pack cover both ends of two or more hoses plus a spare.
- Position the band a few millimetres from the hose end, over the pipe, so it presses the hose onto the spigot rather than past it.
What Will Not Work
- It will not hold hoses below 40 mm or above 60 mm outer diameter.
- It is not designed for fuel, gas or high-pressure hydraulic lines — use clamps rated for those applications.
- It does not replace a proper fitting where the pipe and hose sizes do not match.
- The plastic butterfly is for hand tightening; it will not take the torque of a screwdriver or wrench.
