Delock 65529 — Micro USB OTG Card Reader + 3 Port USB Hub
3 x USB-A socketsSD microSD M2 and MS slotsMicro USB OTG plug5 V DC input
The Delock 65529 plugs into a phone or tablet with a Micro USB port and OTG support and turns it into something that can read memory cards and take USB devices. It carries three USB-A sockets and four card slots — SD, microSD, M2 and Memory Stick — in a 66 mm square black body, with a 5 V DC input so the phone does not have to power everything itself.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Check three things before ordering. First, the host plug is Micro USB Type-B and your device must support USB OTG. A USB-C phone or tablet will not take it without an adapter, and neither will a PC — this is not a computer card reader. Second, only one memory card can be used at a time even though there are four slots, and the data medium must be formatted FAT32. Third, the box contains a USB power cable but no mains adapter: the 5 V barrel jack is fed from a USB power source you already own, and without it the phone supplies everything through a Micro USB port. Delock publishes no transfer-speed figure for this product at all — the Micro USB Type-B connector it uses is a USB 2.0 connector, so plan for USB 2.0 behaviour rather than SuperSpeed. If you want the same idea on a modern phone, Delock’s 64064 is the USB-C version with two ports, and the 91721 is the PC version with a USB 3.0 Type-A plug.
Best For
✓ Reading camera and drone cards straight into a phone or tablet
✓ Copying files between a memory card and a USB stick on the move
✓ Older Android phones and tablets with Micro USB and OTG
✓ Adding a keyboard, mouse or stick to a tablet
✓ Anyone who still shoots to SD or Memory Stick media
Key Features
Four card formats in one body
SD, SDHC, SDXC, Extreme SD, MMC and RC-MMC in the full-size slot; microSD, micro SDHC, micro SDXC, T-Flash and MMC-Micro; M2 for MS Micro; and MS, MS Duo, MS Pro, MS Pro Duo, MS Pro-HG and MS XC-HG in the Memory Stick slot.
Three USB-A sockets
Delock lists them for a USB stick, a hard drive, a mouse or a keyboard — so the same accessory that reads your cards also gives the tablet real ports.
Card to stick without a computer
Delock states data is transferable directly between a memory card and a USB stick, which is the point of carrying this rather than a laptop on a shoot.
Its own power input
A 5 V DC jack with a blue LED indicator, fed by the included USB power cable, so a hungry drive is not drawing everything from the phone battery. Connector is 1.3 mm inside and 3.5 mm outside diameter.

Singular Expert Insight
This is an older-generation accessory and it should be bought for what it is: a card reader and port expander for a Micro USB phone or tablet, not a computer hub. The OTG requirement, the FAT32 limit and the one-card-at-a-time rule are all Delock’s own words, and they matter more than any speed figure — which Delock does not publish for this item in any case. If your phone is USB-C, do not buy this with an adapter; ask us for the USB-C equivalent instead. If the target is a PC, you want a proper computer reader and USB stick setup rather than an OTG accessory.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You have a Micro USB phone or tablet with OTG and you want to read camera cards and add USB ports to it away from a computer.
Skip it if
Skip it if your device is USB-C or Apple, if you need two cards at once, or if you want a card reader for a PC.
Also consider
Delock 64064 for a USB-C phone or laptop, or Delock 91721 if you want the same reader plus hub on a PC USB 3.0 port.
