The Delock 89557 expands a compatible desktop PC with four external RS232 serial ports. Two DB9 male connectors are mounted on the main card bracket and two additional DB9 male connectors are provided on a separate rear bracket. It uses an ASIX AX99100 chipset and supports serial transfer rates of up to 921.6 kbps.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is an internal PCI Express x1 card. Installation requires one free PCI Express slot and one additional free rear expansion slot for the second pair of serial ports. Delock lists Windows 7, 8.1, 10 and 11 support. All four serial connectors are male DB9 RS232 ports.
