The Delock 80472 is a compact IEC adapter, C14 male to C13 female, angled at 90° and rated 10 A at up to 250 V — it turns a straight kettle-type power cord into an angled one where there is no room behind a PC, monitor, UPS or rack device.

Plug it into the C14 inlet of the device and the existing C13 power cord into the adapter: the cord now leaves at a right angle instead of sticking straight out.

What It Means in Practice

  • 10 A is the limit of the C13/C14 system, enough for PCs, monitors, printers and most rack devices.
  • It works with any C13 cord, whatever wall plug the cord has (UK or Schuko).

  • Changing the wall plug — it adapts the device end only.
  • C19/C20 high-current connectors.
  • Figure-8 (C7/C8) or clover-leaf (C5/C6) cords.
