Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
Suitable for buyers who need to adapt DB-9 serial connections for null modem use or to connect two computers directly with a serial cable setup.
Skip it if
This is a serial adapter, not an active converter. It is intended for DB-9 serial use and should be chosen only when female-to-female conversion or null modem wiring is what you need.
Also consider
If you need a different serial cable layout rather than a gender converter, a dedicated null modem cable may be the more direct option.
