The Digitus DN-81626 is a 100 Gbps QSFP28 active optical cable, 10 m long, with a QSFP28 module fixed at each end. It connects two 100G QSFP28 ports — switch to switch or switch to server — across a row of racks without separate transceivers or patch cords.
Inside, four full-duplex channels run at up to 25.78/28.05 Gb/s each (103.1 Gb/s aggregate) over multimode fibre, driven by an 850 nm VCSEL array with PIN photodetectors. It runs from the port’s 3.3 V supply at under 3.5 W and is hot-pluggable.
Before you order: Digitus lists compatibility with switches from Cisco, Dell, Juniper, Huawei, Extreme and others, but some vendors lock their QSFP28 ports to their own coded optics. Send us the switch model and software version before ordering and we will confirm.

- Switches that reject third-party optics.
