The DIGITUS DN-95402-1-FR is a 19-inch, 1U rack power strip with eight French-standard CEE 7/5 sockets, rated 16 A / 4000 W, for powering servers, switches and network gear inside a rack cabinet. It is built on an aluminium profile with a master switch that is guarded against being knocked off by accident.

It suits installers and IT teams who equip racks for French-standard (type E) plugs or who use equipment with hybrid CEE 7/7 plugs, which fit both French and Schuko sockets. The eight sockets are rotated 45°, so angled plugs and bulky power adapters sit side by side without blocking the neighbouring outlet.

• One 1U slot gives you eight outlets — enough for a small switch stack, a router, a firewall and a couple of servers or NAS units.
• The 45° socket rotation lets you plug in angled plugs and wall-wart adapters next to each other without losing outlets.
• The guarded switch cuts all eight sockets at once, which is handy for maintenance, but cannot be switched off by brushing past it.
• Total load is limited to 16 A (4000 W) for the whole strip, not per socket — add up the power ratings of what you connect.

• Standard German Schuko plugs (CEE 7/4, no earth hole) — they will not go into French sockets.
• UK/Cyprus BS 1363 plugs — you need equipment cords with CEE 7/7 or French plugs instead.
• Plugging the strip into a Cyprus BS 1363 wall socket — the CEE 7/7 plug needs a Schuko/French outlet installed by an electrician, or a UPS with matching outputs.
• Surge or spike protection — this model has none; choose a surge-protected PDU if you need it.
• IEC C13/C19 server cords — this strip has no IEC outlets.
