DIGITUS 10" 1U Rack Socket Strip — 4 × Schuko, Aluminium
4 × Schuko10" rack, 1U4000 W / 16 ASchuko input
The DIGITUS 10" socket strip is a 1U power distribution unit for 10-inch network cabinets, with four Schuko (DIN 49440) sockets in an aluminium profile — sized for small wall cabinets that hold a switch, router, patch panel and modem.
The sockets are rotated 45° so plug blocks fit side by side, and the strip can be mounted with the outlets facing left or right. It is rated 16 A / 4,000 W, uses ABS parts to UL-94 V-0, and connects with a 2 m 1.5 mm² cable and CEE 7/7 plug. Two angle profiles for cabinet assembly are included.
Before you order: This is a 10-inch PDU (254 mm wide) — it will not fit a 19" rack without an adapter. The input is a Schuko CEE 7/7 plug, so in Cyprus it needs a Schuko outlet or a Schuko-to-UK adapter; a 13 A fused adapter limits it to about 3,000 W.
What's in the Box
- 1 × DIGITUS 10" 1U socket strip with 4 Schuko outlets, fixed 2 m cable and CEE 7/7 plug.
- 2 × angle profiles for cabinet mounting.
What It Means in Practice
- Mounts horizontally in one 1U slot of a 10" rack or cabinet, so power sits next to the equipment it feeds instead of on the cabinet floor.
- The 45° socket rotation leaves room for router and modem power supplies next to each other.
- Mount it with the outlets facing left or right, whichever suits your cable routing.
- There is no switch: all four outlets are live whenever the strip is plugged in.
What Will Not Work
- 19-inch racks — it is 254 mm wide (10").
- Plugging straight into a Cyprus BS 1363 wall socket — the input is a Schuko plug.
- Devices with UK three-pin plugs — they need UK-to-Schuko adapters.
- Surge protection, switching or metering — it is a basic unmanaged strip.
