DN-81243 provides a short 25GbE copper link between two compatible SFP28 ports. The shielded passive Twinax assembly is 3 m long, suitable for nearby equipment when both hosts accept this DAC.

Check SFP28 ports, passive-DAC support, coding requirements and firmware at both ends. A brand-level declaration does not confirm every model; a 10G SFP+ port does not automatically become 25G.

Can I read DDM diagnostics?
The DN-81243 specification states that DDM is not supported. Serial I²C management does not mean DDM measurements are available.
