DN-81325 is a 5 m DAC that links one compatible 40G QSFP+ port to four 10G SFP+ connections. The breakout arrangement connects nearby servers, switches or NAS equipment with suitable ports. Before buying, confirm that the QSFP+ host supports the required breakout mode.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the switch, 4 × 10G configuration, coding and firmware at every end. DIGITUS’s vendor list does not establish support for every model. This cable is 5 m long and does not support DDM.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it automatically split every QSFP+ port into four 10G links?
The port must support the required switch mode/configuration. Confirm 4 × 10G breakout for the exact model and firmware.
Does I²C mean DDM is available?
No. DIGITUS specifies serial I²C management and separately states DDM: no. These are different capabilities.
Is measuring the distance to one host enough?
Check the routes to every SFP+ endpoint, cable management and breakout mode before choosing the fixed 5 m length.
