DIGITUS 4K Wireless HDMI Extender Set — 4K/30Hz up to 30 m, Plug & Play
Wireless 4K/30HzUp to 30 m (line of sight)Point-to-point 1:1USB-C powered
The DIGITUS DS-55323 is a wireless HDMI extender set — a transmitter and a receiver dongle — that carries video in up to 4K UHD at 30Hz (4096x2160) and 2-channel audio over up to 30 m in clear line of sight. It is a tidy way to feed a projector, a wall-mounted TV or a meeting-room display from a laptop, media player or console without running an HDMI cable through the room.
The units plug directly into HDMI ports and are powered over USB-C from the supplied USB-A to USB-C cables (any USB port or USB charger). They pair automatically on the best Wi-Fi channel in the 2.4 or 5 GHz band; no driver or software is needed.
Before you order: 4K is carried at 30Hz, not 60Hz. The transmitter side is HDMI 1.4 / HDCP 1.4 and the receiver side HDMI 2.0 / HDCP 2.2 — sources that insist on HDCP 2.2 at the input (some 4K streaming boxes) may fall back to a lower resolution. 30 m requires clear line of sight.
What's in the Box
- 1× transmitter dongle (HDMI)
- 1× receiver dongle (HDMI)
- 2× USB-A to USB-C power cables (1 m)
- 2× short HDMI extension cables (12.5 cm)
- 1× quick installation guide
What It Means in Practice
- Point-to-point: one source to one screen, paired out of the box.
- Latency is about 100 ms — fine for presentations, films and dashboards; fast games will feel delayed.
- Power each dongle from a nearby USB port; the TV’s own USB port often works for the receiver (5V/0.6A needed).
- The radio link is encrypted (AES-128, WPA2).
What Will Not Work
- No 4K/60Hz — the wireless path tops out at 4K/30Hz.
- No keyboard/mouse or IR back-control.
- Not for distributing one source to several screens.
- No guaranteed range through walls.
- Not for outdoor use (0–40°C, indoor).
Key Features
4K over the air
H.265 compression over a dual-band 802.11ac link delivers up to 4096x2160 at 30Hz.
USB-C powered
Each dongle runs from a simple USB-A to USB-C cable — no bulky power adapters.
Auto channel selection
The pair picks the clearest Wi-Fi channel for a stable picture.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Wireless 4K at 30Hz is a sensible compromise for presentations, signage and movies: sharp text, no cable through the room. If you need 4K/60, remote control or the screen is behind walls, a wired HDBaseT or IP extender over network cables is the dependable route.
✓ Buy it if you want to place a 4K source and a 4K screen up to 30 m apart in the same space without a cable.
✕ Skip it if you need 4K/60Hz, gaming-level latency, several screens or guaranteed range through walls.
→ Also consider DIGITUS DS-55324 (same, with USB-C transmitter) or DS-55328 (4K wireless KVM, 150 m, up to 4 screens).
