The DIGITUS DS-55323 is a wireless HDMI extender set — a transmitter and a receiver dongle — that carries video in up to 4K UHD at 30Hz (4096x2160) and 2-channel audio over up to 30 m in clear line of sight. It is a tidy way to feed a projector, a wall-mounted TV or a meeting-room display from a laptop, media player or console without running an HDMI cable through the room.
The units plug directly into HDMI ports and are powered over USB-C from the supplied USB-A to USB-C cables (any USB port or USB charger). They pair automatically on the best Wi-Fi channel in the 2.4 or 5 GHz band; no driver or software is needed.
Before you order: 4K is carried at 30Hz, not 60Hz. The transmitter side is HDMI 1.4 / HDCP 1.4 and the receiver side HDMI 2.0 / HDCP 2.2 — sources that insist on HDCP 2.2 at the input (some 4K streaming boxes) may fall back to a lower resolution. 30 m requires clear line of sight.
