DIGITUS 10-inch 0.5U Cable Entry Panel with Brush Strip for 254 mm Racks, Sheet Steel, Light Grey RAL 7035

The DIGITUS DN-10 ORG-1/2U is a half-height (0.5U) cable entry panel with a brush strip for 254 mm (10-inch) network cabinets, made from light grey RAL 7035 sheet steel. It is aimed at small office, home-lab and SoHo racks where patch cords have to pass from the front of the rack to the back without leaving an open gap.

The panel is only 22 mm tall, so it fits between a patch panel and a switch without giving up a full rack unit. The brush bristles close around the cables that pass through, keeping the front of the rack tidy and making it harder for dust to get in.

• Cables run through a 12 mm high brush opening that spans the panel width. Patch cords from the switch can go straight to the rear of the cabinet or to the patch panel behind.
• At 0.5U you can put it between two 1U devices and still keep the rack layout compact. This matters most in 6U–12U wall cabinets, where every unit counts.
• The light grey RAL 7035 finish matches DIGITUS light grey 10" cabinets and accessories, so the front of the rack looks uniform.
• It mounts on the front 10" profile rails with the supplied screws and cage nuts. No tools beyond a screwdriver are needed.

• 19-inch racks and cabinets. This is a 254 mm panel and is too narrow for 19" rails.
• Large connectors. Plugs taller than the 12 mm opening, such as mains plugs or bulky adapters, will not pass through the brush, so route those cables another way.
• Storing cable slack. The panel only passes cables through the front plane and has no rings to hold loops. For that, add a 1U ring panel such as the DIGITUS DN-10 ORG-1U.
• Holding weight. It is a cover panel, not a shelf, so do not rest devices on it.
