The Digitus DN-19 BPN-01 is a 1U blank cover for 482.6 mm (19-inch) network and server enclosures, made of sheet steel in light grey RAL 7035, for closing empty height units in 19-inch cabinets and universal equipment racks.
Almost every rack has gaps: space left for the next switch, a unit freed when a server was removed, or units between patch panels. Open gaps let hot exhaust air from the back of the rack flow round to the front intakes, which raises inlet temperatures and makes fans work harder. They also leave the cabling on show. A 1U blank panel closes each gap with a flat steel plate so the front of the rack is sealed and tidy. Digitus includes the installation set with screws, cage nuts and washers.
Before you order: This is a 19-inch panel. It does not fit 10-inch (254 mm) cabinets; for those choose the Digitus DN-10-BPN-01 (grey) or DN-10-BPN-01-B (black).

What It Means in Practice
- Covers one height unit (1U, 44.45 mm). Order one panel per empty unit, or combine panels for larger gaps.
- Screws onto the front 19-inch profile rails with cage nuts, exactly like a patch panel or shelf.
- Works in Digitus 19-inch cabinets and in universal 19-inch equipment racks built to IEC 60297.
- Light grey RAL 7035 matches the standard grey used on many network and server cabinets.
What Will Not Work
- 10-inch cabinets: the panel is sized for 482.6 mm (19-inch) rails.
- Cable pass-through: it is a solid plate. Where cables need to reach the front, use a brush panel instead.
- Tool-less mounting: there are no snap-in clips; it is screwed to the rails.
- Black cabinets: it fits, but the grey will stand out. The black version is the DN-19 BPN-01-SW.
