The DIGITUS DN-19 BPN-03-SW is a 3U blank panel for 482.6 mm (19-inch) network and server cabinets, made from robust sheet steel in black RAL 9005, for closing unused rack space so cool air goes through your equipment instead of around it.
It mounts on the 19-inch profile rails with the supplied screws, cage nuts and washers, covers three rack units in one piece, and gives the cabinet front a finished look.

What It Means in Practice
- Open gaps let hot exhaust air flow back to the front of the rack; a blank panel closes the gap and helps equipment run cooler.
- One 3U plate is quicker to fit and looks cleaner than three separate 1U plates.
- Reserved space for future equipment stays covered and tidy until you need it.
- Black matches black cabinets and most servers and switches.
What Will Not Work
- It does not fit 10-inch racks.
- It is solid — cables cannot pass through; use a brush panel for that.
- It does not cover 1U or 2U gaps on its own; choose the matching height.
- It is not tool-less: it is screwed onto the rails.
