The DIGITUS DN-19 FAN-2-N is a roof-mounted fan unit with two fans and an adjustable thermostat for DIGITUS Unique and Unique Light network cabinets and Unique Server-N server cabinets, moving up to 276 m³/h of warm air out of the top of the cabinet — for anyone whose switches, servers or UPS are running hot in a closed rack.
Heat rises and collects under the cabinet roof. This unit sits in the roof cut-out and extracts that air, and the built-in thermostat switches the fans on only when the set temperature is reached, so the fans are not running around the clock in a cool room. An on/off switch lets you override it for service work.
Before you order: This is a roof module for the DIGITUS Unique, Unique Light and Unique Server-N cabinet series, not a 1U fan tray for the 19-inch rails. It comes with a 1.8 m cable and a Schuko (CEE 7/7, type F) plug: in Cyprus you will need a rack PDU with Schuko outlets or a suitable adapter.

What It Means in Practice
- The thermostat range of 0 to +70 °C lets you set a switch-on point, for example around 30–35 °C, so the fans run only when the cabinet actually needs cooling.
- Two fans give 276 m³/h together; with one fan running the noise is about 50–55 dB, with both 55–60 dB — noticeable in an office, so plan the cabinet location accordingly.
- The unit carries IP21 only when it is installed under the roof cover of a Unique, Unique Light or Unique Server-N cabinet.
- Fans extract air; make sure the cabinet has an air inlet at the bottom or front, otherwise there is nothing to replace the air being removed.
What Will Not Work
- 1U fan trays for the 19-inch rails: this unit mounts in the cabinet roof, not between the rails.
- Cabinets from other series or brands: the fitting is specified for DIGITUS Unique, Unique Light and Unique Server-N only.
- A UK (type G) socket without an adapter: the plug is Schuko (CEE 7/7).
- Dust filtering: the fans have grille guards but no filter.
