DIGITUS DN-19 FAN-4-B-N — Roof-Mounted Fan Unit with 4 Fans and Thermostat, Black RAL 9005
4 fans552 m³/hThermostat 0–70 °CBlack RAL 9005
The DIGITUS DN-19 FAN-4-B-N is a roof-mounted fan unit with four fans and an adjustable thermostat, made for DIGITUS Unique and Unique Light network cabinets and Unique Server-N server cabinets that need forced ventilation.
It installs in the roof module of the cabinet and extracts warm air upwards at up to 9.2 m³ per minute (552 m³/h). The thermostat, adjustable from 0 to +70 °C, switches the fans only when the cabinet gets warm, and an on/off switch lets you disable it completely.
Before you order: This is a roof unit for DIGITUS Unique, Unique Light and Unique Server-N cabinets. It is not a 19-inch rack-mount tray and is not designed for other brands of cabinet — tell us your cabinet model and we will confirm the fit.
What's in the Box
- 1 × roof fan unit with 4 fans, finished in Black RAL 9005
- Thermostat (mounted on its own holder)
- Fastening material
- Mains cable 1.8 m with CEE 7/7 (Schuko) plug, fitted
What It Means in Practice
- Warm air rises, so a roof unit removes heat exactly where it collects in a closed cabinet.
- With the thermostat set to, for example, 35 °C, the fans only run when needed, which keeps noise down in offices.
- The Schuko plug connects to any power strip in the cabinet.
- Protection class IP21 is achieved only when the unit is installed under the roof cover of a Unique, Unique Light or Unique Server-N cabinet.
What Will Not Work
- It will not mount on 19-inch rails as a 1U tray — for that use DIGITUS DN-19 FAN-4-HO.
- It is not intended for roof cut-outs of other cabinet brands.
- It does not include a dust filter.
- The 1.8 m cable ends in a Schuko plug, not an IEC C14 connector for PDUs with C13 outlets.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Roof fans are the most effective way to cool a closed DIGITUS cabinet because they remove the warm air at the top, but they are specific to the cabinet series. For 1U fan trays, blanking panels and shelves see our rack accessories range.
✓ Buy it if you have a DIGITUS Unique, Unique Light or Unique Server-N cabinet and want thermostat-controlled roof ventilation.
✕ Skip it if your cabinet is another brand or you need a 1U rack-mount fan tray.
→ Also consider DN-19 FAN-4-N (grey) or DN-19 FAN-4-HO-SW (1U rack tray, black).
