The DIGITUS DN-95117 is a 24-port PoE+ midspan injector in a 19" 1U rack housing that adds IEEE 802.3af/at power — up to 30 W per port and 370 W in total — to the links of a non-PoE switch, while passing data at 10/100/1000 Mbps, 2.5G, 5G and 10G.
Patch each switch port into a "Data in" port and connect your cameras, access points or phones to the matching "Data + Power out" port. The injector detects each device and supplies the right power automatically; the power supply is built in, so a single mains cable runs the whole unit.
Before you order: The 370 W budget is shared: 24 devices at a full 30 W would need 720 W. Plan on an average of about 15 W per port when all 24 are in use. It delivers 802.3af/at only — not 802.3bt (60/90 W) loads.

What It Means in Practice
- Turns any 24-port non-PoE switch — including 10G multi-gig switches — into a PoE+ installation without replacing the switch.
- Each port auto-detects 802.3af (15.4 W) or 802.3at (30 W) devices; non-PoE devices on an output port simply receive data.
- Power is on pins 1/2 and 3/6; output 48–56 V DC; up to 100 m from injector to device.
- Per-port overload and short-circuit protection plus automatic surge protection.
- Fits in a 19" rack (1U) or stands on a desk with the rubber feet.
What Will Not Work
- No 802.3bt (PoE++) — 60 W/90 W devices such as some PTZ cameras or Wi-Fi 7 APs will not get full power.
- Total budget is 370 W — not 30 W on all 24 ports at once.
- Not a switch: it does not route or switch data between ports.
- Indoor use only; Class A EMC equipment — not intended for home environments.
