DIGITUS DN-97665 — Extendible 19" Shelf for Charging and Storing 14 Devices
14 device slots620 mm pull-out50 kg loadBlack, RAL 9005
The DIGITUS DN-97665 is an extendible 19" rack shelf that holds up to 14 tablets, notebooks or smartphones upright in individual slots, pulling out to 620 mm — made for schools, offices and IT departments that need to store and charge a fleet of mobile devices inside a lockable network cabinet.
It mounts on one rack unit but needs 4.5 rack units of space for its full 175 mm height. The frame is stable sheet steel with steel brackets, rated for 50 kg, with cable feed-throughs at the front and room for cable storage underneath.
Before you order: Plan 4.5U of free rack space for the full 175 mm height, and front and rear rails 345 mm apart for 4-point installation. Devices up to 250 mm deep can be stored. Charging requires your own chargers or a PDU — none are included.
What's in the Box
- 1 × extendible device shelf with mounting brackets
What It Means in Practice
- Up to 14 devices stand upright in slots, so they are easy to count and hand out.
- Pulling the shelf out to 620 mm gives access to every slot without removing the shelf.
- Cable feed-throughs at the front and storage underneath keep charging cables organised.
- Inside a lockable cabinet, the devices are stored securely overnight.
What Will Not Work
- It does not include chargers, USB hubs or a power strip.
- It is not suitable for devices deeper than 250 mm.
- It cannot be installed in only 1U of free space — the full height is 175 mm.
- It is not a 10" rack product.
