DIGITUS DN-97666 — 1U panel with 5 heavy-duty steel rings
1U · 19"5 steel rings40 x 75 mm ringsRAL 7035 grey
The DIGITUS DN-97666 is a 1U, 19-inch cable management panel with five steel rings of 40 x 75 mm, powder-coated in light grey RAL 7035, for cabinets where larger patch-cord bundles must be routed horizontally between patch panels and switches.
Steel rings are stiffer than plastic ones and DIGITUS rates them for larger cable quantities. The rings can be dismantled, and the panel ships with a mounting set of screws, cage nuts and washers.
What's in the Box
- 1 × DIGITUS DN-97666 cable management panel with 5 steel rings
- 1 × mounting set (screws, cage nuts, washers)
What It Means in Practice
- Five 40 x 75 mm rings split a 24- or 48-port row into bundles that each fall straight to their switch ports.
- Steel rings do not flex or snap under heavy Cat6A bundles the way thin plastic rings can.
- Rings can be removed, so you can take one out where a device needs clear space in front.
- Mounting hardware is in the box — you can install it the day it arrives.
What Will Not Work
- It does not fit 10-inch racks.
- There is no cover and no brush: cables remain visible and the panel does not seal airflow.
- It is not a vertical cable manager.
- It is grey RAL 7035; for black cabinets, the black DIGITUS version is a different part number — ask us.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Choose steel rings when the rack carries dense Cat6A or many patch cords per row — they keep their shape for years. Mount one panel under each patch panel for the cleanest result. Browse more rack accessories for brush panels and shelves.
✓ Buy it if you route large patch-cord bundles in a grey 19-inch cabinet and want rigid steel rings.
✕ Skip it if you want cables hidden behind a cover or a brush pass-through to the rear.
→ Also consider DIGITUS DN-97669 (black, 4 steel rings plus brush strips) if you also need to pass cables to the rear.
