The DIGITUS DK-1532-010 is a 1 m grey Cat 5e SF/UTP patch cable tested to 100 MHz, with 4 × 2 AWG 26/7 stranded conductors, foil-plus-braid shielding and a PVC jacket — a dependable Gigabit Ethernet cord for desks, wall outlets and patch panels.
SF/UTP means an overall foil and an overall braid around unshielded pairs, which gives good protection from outside interference. The boots provide kink protection, strain relief and latch protection. Cat 5e (Class D, 100 MHz) is rated for Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T). It is not specified for 10GBASE-T — choose a Cat 6A cord for 10G. The shield is most effective with shielded, earthed panels and ports; in unshielded systems it works like a normal cord.
