The DIGITUS DS-55354 is an additional HDMI-over-IP receiver for the DIGITUS DS-55353 HDMI IP PoE Extender Set. It takes the 4K/60Hz video stream from the DS-55353 transmitter over a Gigabit network and outputs it on HDMI, so you can add more screens to an existing installation — up to 253 receivers on one transmitter.

The receiver connects to a PoE network switch with CAT6 cable and draws its power (approx. 2.5 W) from the switch, so no power socket is needed at the display; a 5 V adapter is included for networks without PoE. Each segment can be up to 120 m, and receivers can be cascaded. An IR input lets you pass remote-control signals back to the source.

• Add one DS-55354 per extra display — e.g. menu boards, lobby screens or classroom displays fed from one source.
• PoE from the switch removes the need for a mains socket behind the screen.
• Expect latency of 150–220 ms at 4K/60 and 80–130 ms at Full HD — fine for signage and presentations.
• Use CAT6 or better; the HDMI cable from receiver to display should not exceed 5 m.

• It does nothing on its own — the DS-55353 transmitter must be on the same network.
• It will not work with the DS-55351/DS-55352 system or third-party HDMI-over-IP products.
• DIGITUS does not publish the PoE standard or the network switch requirements (multicast/IGMP) — check your switch with us first.
• It is for indoor use only.
