The DIGITUS DN-48005 is a 19-inch equipment wall mounting bracket with 6U of space: an open steel frame, 283 × 504 × 151 mm, that holds patch panels, cable managers and shallow switches directly on a wall, or horizontally under a desk. It carries up to 40 kg and is finished in black RAL 9005. In practice it gives a small office, shop or classroom a proper 19-inch mounting point for its patch panel and switch without buying a full cabinet — the cabling from the walls arrives at one tidy, reachable place. The equipment screws come in the box; wall plugs and wall screws are chosen to suit your wall.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Depth is only 151 mm. It suits patch panels, brush and blank panels and shallow switches; most servers, NAS units, UPSs and deep routers will not fit. It is an open bracket — no door, no side panels and no lock — so the equipment is not protected from dust or tampering; for that, choose a wall cabinet.
