The DIGITUS DN-95427 is a 19-inch, 1U rack PDU with eight IEC C13 and two IEC C19 outlets, fed through a 2 m cable with an IEC C20 plug and rated 16 A / 3.6 kVA. DIGITUS designs it to be connected to a UPS: one C19 output of the UPS feeds the whole rack.

Every outlet has pull-out (extraction) protection, so C13 and C19 cords stay seated when the rack is serviced. The two C19 outlets take high-power devices such as larger servers or blade chassis; the C13 outlets cover switches, firewalls and storage.

Before you order: The input is an IEC C20 plug: it needs a C19 outlet on a UPS or upstream PDU, not a wall socket. Your devices need C14-to-C13 cords (or C20-to-C19 for the two high-power outlets). DIGITUS lists the outlets as having pull-out protection; standard IEC cords fit.

What It Means in Practice

  • Plug the C20 into the UPS C19 outlet and all ten rack outlets run on UPS power — the standard layout for a protected server rack.
  • Two C19 outlets mean high-draw equipment does not need an adapter or a second PDU.
  • Pull-out protection keeps cords from working loose when you move cables behind the rack.
  • The 16 A / 3.6 kVA limit is for the whole PDU and must also fit within the UPS output rating.

What Will Not Work

  • Plugging into a wall socket — the C20 plug needs a C19 outlet on a UPS or PDU.
  • Device cords with Schuko or BS 1363 plugs — use C14-to-C13 or C20-to-C19 cords.
  • UPS units without a C19 outlet — most small UPS models only have C13 or Schuko outlets.
  • Surge protection, fuse or on/off switch — none on this model.

Does my UPS need a C19 outlet?
Yes. The C20 plug fits only a C19 outlet. Many 2–3 kVA rack UPS models have one; check the back panel or send us the UPS model.
What goes into the C19 outlets?
Devices with a C20 inlet, connected with C20-to-C19 cords — typically larger servers, storage arrays or PoE switches with high power draw.
How deep is it?
60 mm, slightly deeper than DIGITUS strips with Schuko outlets, so leave room behind the rack rails.
Can I plug it into the wall with an adapter?
No. Use a PDU with a CEE 7/7 plug, such as the DN-95426, for wall-fed racks.
