The DIGITUS Professional DK-1617-010/B is a 1 m Cat 6 U/UTP patch cable in blue with pure-copper AWG 26/7 conductors and a halogen-free LSZH jacket, made for Gigabit Ethernet patching in racks, cabinets and desks. Part number DK-1617-010/B (EAN 4016032387688) is tested to 250 MHz (Class E) and fitted with red-marked RJ45 plugs with bend-protection hoods and strain relief. This is an unshielded Cat 6 (U/UTP) cord: perfect for 1 Gbps (and 2.5/5GBASE-T over short distances) with any RJ45 switch, patch panel or PC. For guaranteed 10 Gbps, or in electrically noisy environments, choose a shielded Cat 6A cable. At 1 m it suits rack patching and short desk runs. ASSMANN publishes no PoE class for this range.

Unshielded U/UTP is easier to terminate and handle than S/FTP and needs no grounding, so it is the right choice for most office racks.
