One full 24-port Cat6A shielded panel, terminated without tools
Cat6A / 500 MHz360° shieldedMetal locking lever24 modules
The Digitus Professional Cat6A keystone module set (24 pieces) provides 24 shielded, toolless RJ45 jacks for 10GBase-T at 500 MHz, sized to fill exactly one 24-port 1U modular patch panel in an office, comms room or server rack.
Each module has a nickel-plated zinc die-cast body with 360° shield contact, a metal locking lever and metal snap-in, colour-coded LSA insulation-displacement contacts for T568A and T568B, and a reclosable intelligent cable manager for strain relief. Wires are seated by closing the module, so no punch-down tool is needed. The same module also clips into design-compatible modular wall and floor outlets.
Before you order: These are shielded modules: the Cat6A rating and the shield only work as intended with shielded installation cable (F/UTP, S/FTP or similar) and a panel or outlet frame that is earthed. With unshielded U/UTP cable the shield has nothing to connect to.
What's in the Box
- 24 × Digitus Cat6A shielded keystone modules with intelligent cable manager (RJ45, 8P8C)
- Dust protection cap on each RJ45 socket
- Colour-coded LSA contact block for T568A / T568B on each module
What It Means in Practice
- No punch-down tool: strip the cable, lay the pairs in the colour-coded LSA slots and close the module; the lid seats all eight conductors together.
- The intelligent cable manager clamps the cable jacket and shield in one movement and can be reopened, so a wrong termination can be redone without cutting the module off.
- Solid and stranded conductors from AWG 26/7 to AWG 22/1 are accepted. Digitus tested the module with AWG 22/1 solid installation cable, the thick end of the range.
- PoE, PoE+ and 4PPoE (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt) are supported in the permanent link, so access points, cameras and PoE lighting can run from the same jacks.
- At 14.5 mm wide, 24 modules sit side by side in a 1U 19-inch modular panel; the same module clips into design-compatible modular wall and floor outlets.
- Twenty-four modules is one fully loaded 1U panel. For a panel plus the matching outlets at the other end of each link, you need two sets or a larger pack.
- Pick T568A or T568B for the whole site and use it at both ends of every link; the module shows both colour schemes, so agree on one before the team starts.
- Because the housing is metal, the module carries the shield to the panel. On a modular panel with an earthing stud, one bonding lead from the panel to the rack earth bar completes the shielded system.
What Will Not Work
- Cat6A jacks alone do not make a link 10 Gbit/s capable: the installation cable must be Cat6A or better along the whole run.
- It will not fit a fixed-port (non-modular) patch panel. The panel or outlet must accept keystone-type snap-in modules.
- It is a jack for terminating installation cable, not a plug for making your own patch cords.
- Digitus does not publish a cable outer-diameter range; with very thick or heavily jacketed cable, try one module first or ask us.
- Shield continuity is lost with an unearthed plastic panel or with unshielded cable.
Key Features
Intelligent cable manager
A reclosable clamp that holds the cable and makes the shield contact at the same time, giving strain relief without cable ties and keeping the back of the panel tidy. On a fully loaded 24-port panel this saves 24 ties and a lot of trimming, and every module ends up dressed the same way.
360° shield contact
The metal housing contacts the cable shield all the way round, preserving Cat6A crosstalk performance and giving a path to the panel earth. The metal body is also tougher than a plastic keystone when cords are pulled repeatedly.
Metal locking lever and snap-in
Digitus specifies a metal locking lever and metal snap-in on this module, so it stays firmly closed after termination and seats securely in the panel or outlet frame when patch cords are pulled.
Standards and PoE
Compliant with ISO/IEC 11801 3rd edition and EN 50173-1, GHMT certified, and rated for PoE, PoE+ and 4PPoE (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt) in the permanent link.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the cable manager replace cable ties?
Yes. Digitus specifies the reclosable intelligent cable manager as the strain relief and cable fixing for this module, so no separate tie is needed at the jack.
Can I use Cat6 or Cat5e cable?
Mechanically yes, within AWG 26/7 to 22/1, but the link then performs to the cable grade, not Cat6A, and with unshielded cable the shield is unused.
How many fit in a 1U panel?
Twenty-four, so this set fills exactly one 24-port modular panel.
Which cable does Digitus pair it with?
Digitus lists its Cat7 and Cat7A S/FTP installation cables alongside this module and tested it with AWG 22/1 solid cable. Any shielded Cat6A or better installation cable within AWG 26/7 to 22/1 is suitable.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
On shielded Cat6A jobs, most failed certifications trace back to the shield rather than the pairs: keep the foil and drain wire under the cable manager clamp and bond the panel to the rack earth bar. Building the rack at the same time? The
rack accessories range covers modular panels, cable management and earthing parts for these modules.
✓ Buy it if You are fitting out one 24-port shielded Cat6A panel and want toolless terminations with a metal locking lever and PoE++ headroom.
✕ Skip it if Your cable is unshielded U/UTP, or your panel has fixed ports instead of keystone slots.
→ Also consider Don't accidentally order DN-93617-24: Digitus gives it the same name, but it is a different module: Digitus specifies the metal locking lever and metal snap-in for DN-93619-24, while DN-93617 lists a locking lever and a 1000-cycle rating. If you need 48 modules, order two sets or the DN-93617-48 / DN-93615-48 packs instead.
