The DIGITUS Professional DN-93631 is a shielded CAT 6A RJ45 plug that you fit directly onto network cable in the field, without a crimping tool — for installers who need a plug on the end of an installation cable, for example to connect a camera, access point or switch straight from the wall run.
DIGITUS rates assembly at about 60 seconds without special tools. The zinc die-cast body gives 360° shield contact, and the plug comes with a dust cap and a bend-relief sleeve.
Before you order: Check your cable first: conductor AWG 22–24 solid or AWG 22–27 stranded, insulation Ø 0.85–1.6 mm and outer cable Ø 5.0–9.0 mm. Outside these ranges the plug will not seat properly.

What It Means in Practice
- Put a plug straight onto a solid installation cable — no patch panel or wall socket needed at that end.
- Ideal for PoE cameras and access points mounted at the end of a cable run.
- Mistakes are fixable: no crimping, so you can re-open and redo a termination.
- Shielded build keeps S/FTP or F/UTP cable earthed through to the device.
What Will Not Work
- It will not fit cables thinner than 5 mm or thicker than 9 mm outer diameter.
- It will not take conductors finer than AWG 27 (stranded) or AWG 24 (solid).
- It is a single plug — for cable-to-cable joins use a coupler or junction module.
- It is not a crimp plug, so standard RJ45 crimping tools are not used with it.
