DIGITUS Cat 6 U/UTP Patch Cable — 2 m Blue
Cat 6 · 250 MHz2 m BlueAWG 26/7 copperSnagless RJ45
The DIGITUS Professional DK-1612-020/B is a 2 m blue Cat 6 U/UTP patch cable with AWG 26/7 stranded copper conductors and a PVC jacket, made for Gigabit Ethernet connections between PCs, switches, routers and patch panels in offices and homes.
Its part number is DIGITUS DK-1612-020/B (ASSMANN Electronic). It is rated to 250 MHz, uses 100 % copper (not CCA) and has moulded boots that protect the RJ45 latch. The transparent red plugs mark it as a Category 6 cord. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy
This is an unshielded (U/UTP) cable with a PVC jacket. It is right for standard office and home LANs; for halogen-free (LSZH) requirements in public buildings choose the DIGITUS DK-1617 LSOH line, and for 10 GbE over longer runs or near strong interference choose a shielded Cat 6A cord.
Key Features
100 % copper conductors
AWG 26/7 stranded copper gives lower resistance than CCA cords, better PoE behaviour and a flexible cable for everyday patching.
Cat 6 at 250 MHz
Category 6 performance for Gigabit Ethernet, VoIP phones, printers and IP cameras, with headroom over Cat 5e.
Snagless moulded boots
Kink protection, strain relief and latch protection keep the RJ45 clip intact when the cable is pulled through desks or cable trays.

Singular Expert Insight
For desk and wall-socket patching the DK-1612 hits the sweet spot: real copper, Cat 6 and a 2 m length that reaches from a floor socket to a desktop PC or from a router to a switch. Use the blue colour to separate device groups. If the installation must be halogen-free, step up to DK-1617.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You need a reliable 2 m copper Cat 6 cable for Gigabit desk, router or switch connections.
Skip it if
You need LSZH/halogen-free cabling, shielded cabling for 10 GbE, or a rack jumper shorter than 1 m.
Also consider
DIGITUS DK-1617-020 (Cat 6 U/UTP LSOH) for halogen-free sites, or DK-1644-A Cat 6A S/FTP for 10 GbE.
