DIGITUS DA-70235 — 4-Port USB 3.0 Slim Hub
4x USB 3.0 portsUp to 5 GbpsUSB-C adapter included20 cm cable
The DIGITUS DA-70235 is a slim four-port USB 3.0 hub designed to add four SuperSpeed USB-A connections to a notebook, desktop or compatible tablet. Its included USB-A to USB-C adapter lets the same hub connect to either USB-A or USB-C host devices, while transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps support external SSDs, hard drives and other high-speed USB peripherals.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The four downstream connections are USB-A USB 3.0 ports. The included adapter allows connection to a USB-C host, but it does not convert the downstream ports to USB-C. The hub also has a USB-C connection that can provide additional power to the hub when required; the necessary charging cable and power adapter are not included.
Best For
✓ Adding four high-speed USB-A ports
✓ USB-A and USB-C host computers
✓ External SSDs, hard drives and flash storage
✓ Compact office and travel setups
Key Features
Four SuperSpeed USB-A ports
Four USB 3.0 Type-A ports allow up to four compatible USB devices to be connected and used simultaneously through one host connection.
Up to 5 Gbps data transfer
USB 3.0 SuperSpeed supports transfer rates up to 5 Gbps with compatible hosts and devices. USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 peripherals are also supported through backward compatibility.
USB-A and USB-C host support
The included USB-A to USB-C adapter broadens compatibility, allowing the hub to connect to computers equipped with either a suitable USB-A or USB-C data port.
Optional additional power
An integrated USB-C power connection can supply the hub with additional power when needed. A suitable charging cable and power adapter must be supplied separately.

Singular Expert Insight
The DA-70235 is more versatile than a basic USB-A hub because the supplied adapter lets it work with both USB-A and USB-C host computers. All four downstream ports remain USB-A and support up to 5 Gbps, so it is particularly useful when a modern USB-C notebook still needs several traditional USB-A peripherals. The separate USB-C power input is also useful for configurations that need additional hub power, but it should not be mistaken for laptop Power Delivery passthrough.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need four 5 Gbps USB-A ports and want one hub that can connect to either a USB-A or compatible USB-C host computer.
Skip it if
You need downstream USB-C data ports, laptop Power Delivery charging, HDMI, Ethernet or other docking-station functions.
Power check
For higher-power peripheral combinations, the hub can accept additional power through its USB-C input, but you must provide the charging cable and adapter separately.
