The industrial-green DS3678-XR3U42A2SVW kit includes one cordless Extended Range 1D/2D scanner with a PowerPrecision+ 3100 mAh battery, a USB host cable, cradle and power supply. The AC mains cord is separate. Pair the scanner to its cradle and connect the cradle to a compatible host application by USB. Near and far imagers read supported codes on labels and screens, including suitably large distant warehouse labels; your application handles the inventory records.

Before you order:
Select the AC mains cord and complete the power arrangement before use. Bluetooth radio range differs from barcode optical range. The 32 m optical limit is for the specified large Code 39 and test conditions, not every barcode. Industrial Ethernet requires appropriate separate Network Connect equipment.

  • 1 × DS3678-XR cordless scanner and PowerPrecision+ 3100 mAh battery.
  • USB host cable, cradle and power supply. AC mains cord, host and receiving application are separate.

What It Means in Practice

  • Complete the supplied cradle/power-supply arrangement with the correct separate AC cord, connect USB to the host, charge, pair and configure the receiving application.
  • For example, scan a nearby QR on a carton and a suitably large distant rack barcode while moving within the tested radio coverage. The application associates each decoded code with the required record.
  • Test actual label density, contrast, light and host radio coverage. The 80,000-scan battery figure is a manufacturer reference; your workflow and settings change runtime.

What Will Not Work

  • No AC mains cord or standalone inventory application is included. Use the supplied cradle and a compatible host/application.
  • The largest-symbol maximum does not apply to small QR or dense labels. Wi-Fi Friendly Mode does not provide Wi-Fi networking.
