The DURABLE STYLE badge reel with spring hook (article 8327-07) is a retractable reel in translucent dark blue with a carabiner-style snap hook and a metal clip, for staff who need to swipe or show an ID card or use a key without unclipping it from their clothing.
The cord pulls out to 80 cm and retracts automatically. DURABLE gives a supported weight of 20 g — enough for an ID card in a badge holder or a key or two. The oval reel measures 35 × 9 × 120 mm including hook and clip.
Before you order: The snap hook needs a punched hole, slot or ring on the badge, badge holder or key ring. DURABLE states there is no safety (breakaway) release and the reel is not nickel-free — consider this for staff who work near machinery or have a nickel sensitivity.
