DYMO 1978365 is the white-on-black cassette from the D1 Durable range — 12 mm wide, 3 m long. Durable is DYMO’s toughened D1 line, rated −40 °C to +80 °C and specified for indoor and outdoor use, with resistance to UV, moisture, humidity, freezing and household cleaners.
White text on a black background reads well on dark and cluttered equipment where black-on-white disappears — racks, amplifiers, cable trunking, tool chests. It loads into the same slot as any other D1 tape in your label printer.
Compatibility — check before buying:
DYMO’s current chart lists D1 Durable for the LabelManager 500TS, 420P, 360D, 280, 210D+, 160, PnP and COLORPOP!, plus the discontinued PnP Wireless and MobileLabeler. Older LabelManagers that take 12 mm D1 are plausible but absent from DYMO’s current chart, so we do not list them as confirmed. D1 cassettes do not fit LetraTag, RHINO IND, XTL or LabelWriter machines.
