These are genuine DYMO LabelWriter Durable labels in 25 × 54 mm, supplied as part number 2112283 — one roll of 160 labels. Unlike DYMO's ordinary paper stock, these are a white polypropylene label with a permanent acrylic adhesive, made for small asset tags and equipment marking that has to survive real conditions rather than a filing cabinet.
DYMO tests them across fourteen substrates — ABS, aluminium, galvanised steel, glass, nylon, polycarbonate, PVC, stainless steel and more — at a service range of −18 °C to +60 °C. They withstand 45 °C at 85% relative humidity for 30 days and show no visible defects after 30 rubs against 21 chemicals including fuel, petrol, alcohols and solvents. Authentic DYMO labels. These are Authentic DYMO Durable labels for the DYMO LabelWriter range. ⚠️ About Automatic Label Recognition: DYMO's LabelWriter 550, 550 Turbo and 5XL only accept Authentic DYMO rolls carrying a recognition chip, and DYMO's rule is that rolls manufactured after April 2020 are chipped. Chipping is therefore tied to the production date, not the part number — current stock of this code works with those printers, but very old channel stock of the same code would not be recognised. If you run a 550, 550 Turbo or 5XL, ask us to confirm the batch we hold before you order. ⚠️ Not recommended for the LabelWriter 400 Duo or 450 Duo — DYMO excludes the Duo models from its durable label range. ⚠️ Indoor use only: DYMO tests show the printed text fading after one week of constant UV exposure, so these are not for outdoor labelling even though they resist moisture and chemicals indoors.

At 25 × 54 mm this is the small format in the durable range, which is exactly right for tools and connectors where a bigger tag would wrap round the edge. Two things to be clear about: it is indoor only, because the print fades under sustained UV, and DYMO excludes the 450 Duo from the durable range.
