DYMO Rhino 4200 Industrial Label Maker Kit — QWERTZ, 19 mm IND Tape
180 dpi Thermal Transfer6–19 mm RHINO IND TapeQWERTZ KeyboardLi-ion Battery + Carry Case
The DYMO Rhino 4200 is a handheld industrial label maker that prints 180 dpi thermal-transfer labels onto 6, 9, 12 and 19 mm DYMO RHINO IND cartridges, aimed at electricians, datacomm installers and maintenance teams who label on site rather than at a desk. This kit ships under part number 1852998 with a QWERTZ keyboard, the rechargeable Li-ion battery, the mains adapter, a 12 mm black-on-white vinyl cartridge and a carry case.
One-touch hot keys jump straight to the label type you need — general, wire and cable wrap, flag, breaker, module, fixed-length, Code 39 and Code 128 barcodes — and more than 150 industrial symbols and terms are pre-loaded, so a patch-panel run or a breaker schedule takes seconds instead of menu-diving. A backlit display, manual cutter and rubber-bumpered body round out a tool designed to live in a bag. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The Rhino 4200 accepts DYMO RHINO IND cartridges only — flexible nylon, permanent polyester, durable vinyl, non-adhesive tag and heat-shrink tube, in 6, 9, 12 and 19 mm. It does not take D1 tape cassettes, so cartridges for a LabelManager will not fit. It is also a standalone device with no PC connection: there is no USB port and no PC software, so labels are composed on the keypad. Power is the supplied Li-ion pack or 6 × AA alkaline batteries (AA cells are not included). This unit has a QWERTZ keyboard; the QWERTY version is part number 1852995.

Key Features
One-Touch Industrial Label Types
Dedicated hot keys produce general, wire and cable wrap, flag, breaker, module and fixed-length labels, plus Code 39 and Code 128 barcodes, without stepping through menus. Over 150 industrial symbols and terms are already in memory.
Five Durable IND Tape Families
Prints on flexible nylon for cable wrap, permanent polyester for asset plates, durable vinyl for general marking, non-adhesive tag stock and heat-shrink tube for wiring — all in 6, 9, 12 and 19 mm widths.
Rechargeable Li-ion, or AA in a Pinch
The kit includes the DYMO 7.4 V 1400 mAh Li-ion pack and the 9 V mains adapter, and the unit also runs on 6 × AA alkalines, so a flat battery on site is never a stopped job.
Built for the Bag, Not the Desk
A backlit display, manual cutter and a carry case with the starter 12 mm vinyl cartridge make this a self-contained field kit. Auto-standby after two minutes and auto-off after five minutes protect the charge between labels.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the DYMO Rhino 4200 connect to a computer?
No. The Rhino 4200 is a standalone label maker with no USB port and no PC software — every label is composed on its own keypad and display. If you need to design labels on a PC and print them, look at a PC-connected labeller instead.
What tape does the DYMO Rhino 4200 use?
It uses DYMO RHINO IND cartridges in 6, 9, 12 and 19 mm, available as flexible nylon, permanent polyester, durable vinyl, non-adhesive tag and heat-shrink tube. D1 cassettes for LabelManager machines do not fit.
What is the difference between 1852998 and 1852995?
Only the keyboard layout. 1852998 has the QWERTZ layout and 1852995 has QWERTY. Both are the full kit with the rechargeable Li-ion battery, mains adapter, starter 12 mm vinyl cartridge and carry case, and both have identical print specifications.
What should I know before buying the Rhino 4200?
It is a field tool: no PC link, one manual cutter, and IND cartridges only. In return you get 180 dpi thermal-transfer labels that survive cable ties, solvents and heat-shrink guns, plus hot keys that make repetitive electrical and network labelling genuinely fast.
Singular Expert Insight
The Rhino 4200 sits in the sweet spot of the RHINO line: the hot keys and 150+ symbols that make industrial labelling fast, without the price of the top models. Buy it if most of your work is wire wrap, breakers and patch panels and you want one tool in the van; the kit form (Li-ion, adapter, case, starter cartridge) means nothing else to order on day one. If you need to design from a PC or print long runs from a database, a desktop unit from our
label printers range is the better fit, and for high-volume printed barcodes a dedicated
barcode printer will outrun any handheld.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You label electrical panels, cables and network hardware on site, you want one-touch industrial label types and IND tape durability, and a self-contained kit with battery, adapter and case suits how you work.
Skip it if
You need to design labels on a PC, print from a spreadsheet, or run long batches — the Rhino 4200 has no USB port and no software, and its cutter is manual.
Also consider
A PC-connected desktop label printer if most labelling starts from a computer, or the DYMO Rhino 5200 if you want a larger industrial handheld with more onboard label memory.
