Before you buy
This is a Cat 6 (250 MHz) cord: it is ideal for Gigabit Ethernet and short 2.5/5 GbE runs, but for a certified 10 GbE link choose a Cat 6A cord. Shielding only pays off end-to-end — use it with shielded jacks or patch panels; into unshielded ports it works as a normal Cat 6 cable.
