Gigabit+100 m802.3af/at in15.4 W out

The Edimax Pro GP-101ET is a Gigabit PoE extender that adds another 100 m to an Ethernet link, for installers who need to reach a camera, access point or VoIP phone beyond the 100 m Ethernet limit without running mains power to the middle of the cable.

It draws its own power from the upstream PoE switch or injector (IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at) and passes data and power on through its PoE output port. No external power supply is needed.

Before you order: Important: the output is IEEE 802.3af only, up to 15.4 W. Devices that need PoE+ (more than 15.4 W) — many PTZ cameras and Wi-Fi 6/7 access points — will not run from it.

Can I cascade two extenders?
Edimax does not publish a cascading rating. Power drops at each stage, so ask us before planning more than one.
Why only 15.4 W out?
The extender is itself powered from the cable, so it passes on 802.3af power. Check your device’s PoE class.
