The EFB-Elektronik EB484 is a passive DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter that plugs into a full-size DisplayPort output on a PC, laptop or graphics card and provides an HDMI socket, so an existing HDMI cable can drive a monitor, TV or projector at Full HD.

EFB specifies it for DisplayPort 1.2 sources with HDCP 1.3 and DPCP support, in a black housing.

Compatibility note: Passive adapter: the DisplayPort port must support dual-mode (DP++), as most PC graphics outputs do. It works from DisplayPort to HDMI only and is rated for Full HD — EFB sells the EB484-4K30 and EB484-4K60 separately for 4K displays.
