The EFB-Elektronik 699991.1 is a galvanised-steel cable routing bracket with a 40 x 40 mm opening that fixes to the side 19-inch struts of a network or server cabinet, giving patch cords a defined path next to patch panels and switches.
It is the smallest bracket in the EFB range and suits cabinets with a modest number of cables per rack unit, such as small office and branch installations where a full cable management panel would be more than you need.
Before you order: EFB also makes this 40 x 40 mm size with a laterally offset mounting plate (699991.1S), which keeps the outer ports of a patch panel clear. If the bracket must sit right beside panel ports, order that version instead.

What It Means in Practice
- Screw it to the 19-inch profile beside a patch panel and route cords through it horizontally to the cabinet side.
- One bracket per rack unit keeps cords grouped by panel, so moves and changes stay traceable.
- The slotted holes in the mounting plate let you position it on most 19-inch profiles.
- Galvanised finish resists corrosion in normal indoor cabinet conditions.
What Will Not Work
- It does not replace a 1U cable management panel with several rings — for dense patching, one bracket per unit may be too small.
- The 40 x 40 mm opening fills up quickly with more than a handful of Cat6A or shielded cords; step up to the 40 x 80 or 80 x 80 mm versions for heavier bundles.
- It is not a vertical cable manager for the full cabinet height.
