The EFB-Elektronik ECOLAN K5458.0,5 is a 0.5 m Cat 5e SF/UTP patch cable for short, low-cost Ethernet jumpers in racks and at desks. Part number K5458.0,5 is the red version, with an overall foil-and-braid shield, AWG 26/7 copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors and a PVC jacket, verified by EFB for up to 2.5 Gbit/s.
Compatibility note: The conductors are CCA (copper-clad aluminium) and the jacket is PVC — the cable is not halogen-free. EFB publishes no PoE class for this range, so use a copper cable for PoE devices. As a shielded cable, it works best with grounded equipment.
